La Safor

The streets of Miramar show part of its ancient network of irregular layout that occupies the squares of l’Església, el Trapig and el Raconet and el Carrer Major and Abadia. The most emblematic building is the l’Església de Sant Andreu, built in the 18th century in Baroque style, above the origin of 1535.

How to arrive
BY BUS: It is connected to Gandia through a bus line, departing from the same RENFE station. This line serves both the village centre and the Miramar beach. In addition, a bus line connects Miramar Beach to Madrid throughout the year. BY ROAD: The municipal district of Miramar is crossed by the CV-670, also called the road of the southern beaches of La Safor. From the AP-7 motorway, you can also easily reach Miramar, from Gandia-Xeresa or Oliva exits, being this last one the nearest.

Festivities: Moors and Christians from 5th to 13th August. Holidays in honour of Sant Andreu, Sants de la Pedra, Mare de Déu del Carme, Crist, Mare de Déu del Rosari. La fira de Sant Andreu (Saint Andrew Fair) is held at the end of November.

This population maintains close ties with the Borja family and the cultivation of canyamel. One kilometer away from the town centre there is its beach that has all the services to provide it with the highest quality.

Its maritime promenade becomes the centre of leisure activity, in the summer season, celebrating concerts, film screenings, sports and other entertainments for all types of visitors.
