Located in la Vall del Vernissa (Vernissa Valley), Castellonet de la Conquesta offers us the opportunity to go through different routes, both on foot and with bicycle.

How to arrive
Castellonet de la Conquesta is just 1 km away from l’Autovia del Morquí (CV-60), a communication channel of the first order that lets you connect to its surroundings with the AP7 and the Alcoy highway, although the links between these communication channels are still not carried out on the highway.

Major festivities in honour of Sant Jaume and the Crist de l’Empar, are celebrated on the 21th and 22th July, with a multitude of festive and religious celebrations.

All the routes are well signposted and full of natural springs confering a place of great attractiveness for hikers.

But this village also gives us the opportunity to go back to the past and enter under his Roman arch, as hundreds of generations have throughout history. The second door, la d’Albacar, of Arab origin, is next to the municipal washing place in the lower part of the village.

Among other attractions, Castellonet de la Conquesta also includes el Palau dels Almunia, building of 17th century, and l’Almàssera, an ancient oil mill converted into a restaurant today.
